Why We All Need Love..

Love is a terrible thing to go through

Yet everyone’s trying so hard to find it

So is it really worth it to go through all that pain

Like you’re getting your heart ripped out

Of your chest and someone stomping on it

And not matter how hard you try

You can't breathe and the room

Feels smaller and smaller

And all you want is to go back to how it was before?

Love is so childish

It’s jealous and selfish

Only wants to help itself

Love only loves itself

Everyone wants to know the age old question

Is love really worth it?

Is it worth the pain?

Is it worth the anguish?

As horrible as love is

Why do people seek it out

Because there is something there

Trust me there is

Because it’s worth it

And you’ll see it is

But just when you get a hold on it

When your handling it with such care

It gets ripped out of your hands and your standing there

Bleeding and broken with no hope in sight

I know it's tough but no one said it was easy

So I know that you can make it through this

It's gonna hurt at first but then after all the pain

And the tears you'll be ready for the new love to come along

All pain is temporary!

Remember that

It’s okay keep smiling

I swear it’ll be real after awhile

Everyone goes through a broken heart once

And whether it’s the first or six hundredth time

It’s hurts all the same

Pain is pain

And it brings us back to this

A broken heart feels like

Your getting your heart ripped out of your chest

And someone stomping on it

And not matter how hard you try

You can't breathe

And the room feels smaller and smaller

And all you want is to go back to how it was before?

But it can’t because we have to think of it as a new beginning

Not another end...

The story will continue on

And a new prince/princess will play the role as your protector/lover

So it’s okay to cry

It’s not a sign of weakness

When your hurt your body reacts to it

Rather if it’s physical or emotional pain

We’re only human

But not only that we’re teenagers

Our love may not be seen as real

To others of an older audience

But to us it’s as real as real can be

And nothing you can do or say

Can stop the pain

That spreads through our veins

It’s not childish

It’s not puppy love

It may have been lust at first

But then it grew

Into something new

And now you’re hurt

With not light insight

And you spiral into the depths

Of depression and loneliness

And then we wake up

I’m serious we wake up!

And realize that this wasn’t the end

It was only the beginning of something

So much greater

That was stored up for us

And now look at us

Big bad seniors walking the halls

Yet instill

You feel that sting

That old flame that flickers

When they walk towards you

You walk away from them

Don’t stop to see what’s that emotion

Keep walking in that one direction

Till you hit a wall then

When you think there’s no escape

Your gonna see a window

And your not far from the ground

So jump into the arms

Of the next person to love you

And maybe it’ll last

Maybe it won’t

Love is a process

You’re not gonna get it right every time

But it’s worth it every time you do

So if you can find a millions reason to leave

And one reason to stay

Stay

Because at the end of the day

Whatever’s meant to happen

Will happen

Rather if you wanted it

Or not

We all need love to function

So why continue to deny yourself

Something you need

Which is deemed necessary

We all need it

Simple enough

That's why we all need love...
