Why We Fell Apart.

your love was like a sunrise; 
beautiful and full of color. 
you brought light to my life. 
you didn't know what you were doing, 
made such an impact on my day, 
until the night, where you'd disappear. 
my heart was like a night sky;
filled with this black void, 
leaving glimmers of hope every here and there
but some nights it was cloudy
and you couldn't see these stars
and I couldn't find those colors
which is why I guess we fell apart.
