Why would I not write?

Not writing is like not being able to be heard.

Not writing is never being listened to.

Not writing is trying to scream underwater.

Not writing is standing on a stage but being invisible.

Why would anyone deprive themselves of a gift that each person has at their own finger tips?

I will not let it fade.

Instead, I will let it shine like Jade.

But I refuse to let it shade

Into the dark never to be heard.
