Why WOULDN'T I write?

Here's why I write, I'll keep this simple and plain.

To free my thoughts, create art, and to ease the pain.

I write because of wrongs. I write for the mistakes.

I write for what belongs, and sometimes for whats misplaced.

To create beauty & art from fears and tears,

when expressing your feelings is an incovenience to your peers.

With my sidekick; pen; together we're unstoppable.

Creating colors with just a stroke of black ink, we do the impossible.

In a world so cold and full of hurt it's at times hard to manage.

So I write because it's free for ALL to enjoy, therefore I take advantage.

I don't have to compete, nor do I have to be rushed.

I write because I don't have to worry about my feelings being crushed.

The lines on the page won't stray, they'll never tell a soul.

The ink wont leak my deepest thoughts, my deepest secrets left untold.

I can share it with the world, or keep it to myself.

I can use it to my own benefit, as well as benefit someone else.

I can write during the day, or in the middle of the night.

Best things in life are free, so why WOULDN'T I write?
