Why Write?

Why write? Why play, dance, or sing? It's expression, escape, not just some thing. Never having a way to scream and shout. I was tired of being quiet in the dark, Switching the light, getting paper and a pen, I made my mark. Words unspoken were now alive. YES! Writing along with another were now my drive. No longer mute and tied with the unseen chains, My words, emotions were as free as the rain. Writing and singing are not just some art. For me they are my life and forever in my heart.
