Why Write?
Poetry breathes life
the words that may cut like a knife
the deepeest hurts expressed
for those who are depressed
and also for those who write of the world's many wonders
their voice like a booming thunder
but perhaps poetry is written for something more simple
or to create a great ripple.
Poetry is written for many reasons:
to release people from their demons
to express life's many joys
to write love poems about boys
to capture nature's beauty
or other things that are more lovely
and most of all to show love to one's own religion, of which for me is Christianity
all of these things mentiioned are why I write poetry.
