Why Write?

People write about lost

They write about love

I write for a reason to live

The words that express my color of life

The beginning starts from a blank paper

I express myself from inside and out

My heart bleeds from my pen

As my soul pleads for a reason

Today, the skies turn gray

The color that I see with in me

My soul that is suffocating from these chains

These chains I call, LIFE

I walk to my desk

A blank white paper

I took a moment

Why write…

The moment of life where you seek a reason

A reason for everything in life

To be free from these chains that ties me down

The weight that gets heavier as i choose a different path

My fingers touch the pen

Looking for a reason

I began with a blank white paper

I end it with words that deeply reflects my inner self
