Why you?

Why do I feel alone?

When your only inches away.

Why do I have the urge to call?

Even after all you did.

I don’t like the idea of being alone

You gave me what I never had

Love.

You made me feel like it was just you and me.

Yet, you pretended to be perfect.

And that’s ok,

Because I was happy.

Lifetime memories is what I received.

I love the idea of you,

Not you.

But there is no other like you.

You were always there,

Never ran.

Encouraged the impossible

Making it possible.

It is because of you

I am who I am.

You showed me that no one should be alone

And there are consequences that come along

But I was happy,

With you.
