Why you can't see my heart.

I can not show my heart to you,

for I do not have it.

It lies across the oceans,

over the mountains.

It lies in his arms,

where it will be safe.

This fragile heart of mine,

he will not break.

His never ending love,

as boundless as the sea.

His heart calls out to mine,

and mine calls out to he.

And so I gave my heart away,

to the boy across the sea.

The wind always whispers his name to me,

but he's nowhere to be seen.

So I can not show my heart to you,

for it no longer belongs to me.
