WHY…?

I’m tired of being invisible to you Why won’t you let me show you what I can do? I’m better then what you make me out to be I really am… just give me that chance Not 2 or 3 Just 1 chance and you’d believe in me I need you to believe in me, there is no one to believe in me I tried to show you and I guess it didn’t work maybe I messed up Or maybe you didn’t really listen. Or maybe I’m really not good enough Why don’t you just tell me that instead of leading me on? Instead of putting me in a position where you should be good Those in this position are said to be good So if I’m in this position then I’m good…right? Wait… no…not right cuz when, I do what I do it’s never good enough I must not be good but if that’s what it is then why am I here, … What is my purpose …why did you put me in this position? I’m confused it doesn’t make sense I’ve spent 2 years with you… soon to be three and you don’t even remember me You have nothing but "HI" to say to me Why is that … do I not make myself known...? I’m confused How do you know whether or not I can do something if you never give me the chance? How will I know if I can do it if I’m never given the chance to try? I know I can just give me the chance to prove it I won’t let you down Is that what it is...? are you afraid of me, letting you down Cuz I won’t I'll work hard… I do work hard I’m trying to be better I want to be better If you feel I’m not ready then HELP ME…PLEASE!!!!! Tell me what I need to do to be better I have to be better If this doesn’t work out I have nothing I’m lost, give me that chance Be that person that helps to shape my future I won’t know if I can do it if I’m not given that chance I don’t know that I can’t cuz you’ve never given me that chance… You don't know if I can make it if I’m not given that chance.
