The Widow

Why is she beaten with whips,

the daughter so pure with tears of morning dew,

and the daughter of nature, her screams ever harrowing?

Her cheeks of flesh bare and muscles tight,

skin is red like the fires of hell,

her breasts meaty and bloody for no babe.

Freedom is a widow
