Wild Love

I want

A wild love

But I don’t know

What kind of wild

Exactly

Do I want the kind

That is fully accepting

Unconditional

And suffocating

Or do I want

The ravenous kind

The kind that’s

Confusing

And mind-altering

The kind that makes me

Do unnatural things?

I have the kind

That I thought I wanted

But I feel

Suffocated.

I feel

Tempted and drawn

To what I don’t have

Isn't that human nature?

Is it wrong to desire

Insanity?
To feel like

A wild animal?

No.

I am human.

Humans settle.
