Wild Rose

If there was a time in my life where I said I hated you

I lied

If there was a time where I said you didn’t mean anything to me

I lied

If there was a time when I said I didn’t need you

I lied

To me you are a beautiful, wild rose

There is no one more intricate and fascinating

You make me want to go through the thorns and the vines just to catch a glimpse

Vibrant red, a lovely smell

You’re anything I could want and more

Thorns and all

My beautiful, wild rose
