Wild Things

pretty young thing

all alone

wishin' she was king

she sits by herself

dreams on the shelf

raises her hand

too much

Goody goody

that's what they called her

Pris

that's what they called her

Princess

that's what they called her

White girl

that's what they called her

looks too young

too innocent

says no

to drugs

to boys

to drinks

to herself

everyone sees her

as innocent

but inside

she has dreams of being wild

the craving and tingling

that she tries to turn off

but she doesn't have any turn offs

she wishes

she could dance

and grind

intwined with lights

with the cool kids

on top of the world

her life is

an experiment

she lives

and dies

inside a myth

all fenced in

her suburban bubble

with a secret dream

of going nowhere

free of care

living full time

in a cheap motel

figuring it out on her won

disowned

where her only friens

is a bottle of tequila

only the good

die young

right?

her life

is a wannabe cycle

she wants a night thrill

go for the kill

be interesting

be complex

be toxic

drink tonic

be nocturnal

be a bad kid

be the one your parents

warned you about

be illegal

be drunk

the one who sunk

the one who

used to be innocent

be free

be crazy

be insane

be wild

I know where

the wild things are
