Wilfred's Ballad

The young 10 year old boy, Wilfred
Is a sad lonely boy
He soon wishes he will be dead
Not an ounce of pure joy

He thinks he will see his mother
Golden gates of heaven
He also misses his brother
His sweet little Devin

The accident happened last year
Should've worn a seatbelt
While driving they hit a deer
Such a burden he felt

He was such a big distraction
Arguing with his mom
She swerved and lost the car's traction
Trying hard to stay calm

He just wants to see them again
And not be in the world
He steps up onto the chair then
He hung limply and twirled
