I learned early on that life isn't easy

I've been betrayed by people i never thought would leave me

Success is a process nothing about it speedy

Life is not perfect

But no matter what i know i'm worth it

I strive for success because I know i deserve it

I promise I will do whatever it takes

My determination and drive will not break

I will learn from each and every mistake

I have what it takes to be great

I can't let negativity take me

My life's hardships are what make me

And at times my life has been hard i must say

I wouldn't want it to have been any other way

Because now I know what it takes to make my own way

This is a progress it is my mission

your actions speak so i pay attention

And i advise myself when no one will listen

I take my time and make my decisions

I live with tommorow in mind

Because I know tommorow will be mine

I work to stay ahead and never fall behind
