That will be me

My older sister turning eighteen

can it really be  !

unaware of what was going to happen

she’ll be doing things I haven’t seen before

My sister will be doing her own things

like going off to college and beginning her dreams

When I realized she’s just two years older than me

My mom telling me “your next “

i knew there’s no waisting time

Because that’s also going to be me

begging my dreams.
