Will I Make It?

They tell us that we'll make it

our family, friends, and teachers

they tell us

if we try our best

if we never give up

if we give it our all

that we'll make it

but will I ever make it

It seems hard to believe

that I'll make it in this world

that I'll go to college

that I'll be successful

they always tell me that I'll make it, but

Will I Make It?

I'm not sure

but I do know that

I"ll always try my best

Give it my all

and never give up

I know that if I do this

I won't have to ask myself

Will I make it?

Instead, I will ask

What should I do after I make it?
