will it ever end?

Everyone always talks of the memories they wish to savor

to freeze in time or to save for later

but what of those times that you wish were forgotten

or hoped the minutes would fly by just for the sake of your sanity

Those times when work gets you down

or your so sick and tired of paying or pounds

holding onto a childlike plea

to make time zoom, to make it speedy

Or to make the earth bend to your likes and wants

without having to do anything at all

a bend of a finger and all is yours

that would be far more better than chores

But these thoughts that I have are just whispers of dreams

that will never come true although in my brain it seems

like anythings possible though I try to reason

the same thoughts flitter between honesty and treason

Work may seem hard, life may seem impossible

but day by day we live, getting by just fine and full

what keeps us going? one might ask

the satisfaction of a well done job or task

But not only that is what keeps us on our toes

it is the love that we give and receive and we show

cuz who do we work for in truth and honesty?

not for ourselves, but for the loved ones you see

So live on, work hard, dont let stress make you low

cuz in the end, it’s worth every drip of sweat down your nose

don’t regret the hours put in

your doing a good deed so lift up your chin
