Will there ever be peace?

The question is, Is there peace within ourselves? And if such thing happens, animals would speak flowers would grow as high as a mountain peak In reality everyone was born with evil and good We are selfish people, we are never satisfied with what we have We are thirsty not for water, but for more selfishness This world is not perfect, neither are we So when can there be peace? We do not start peace by stopping wars We do not start peace by being compassionate with other beings But by starting to have peace within ourselves The question is, Is there peace within ourselves? And if such thing happens, animals would speak flowers would grow as high as a mountain peak

I made this poem with my heart on my mind, and hopefully I win this scholarship to be able to pay for college in my freshmen year. I barely have money to pay for my fees
