Will They Ever?

People fly by me

In a whirlwind of colors

And I begin to think

Who?

The people that go so fast

Do they ever stop for a while

And I begin to think

Why?

You’re missing it all

I say as they continue by

And I begin to think

How?

No one speaks as I’m not heard

A silence in a sea of sound

And I begin to think

What?

They all dance

Too long, too fast

And I begin to think

When?

But most important – will they ever?
