Will You Bring Me Lunch?

While my dad and I sit in the car I say, "Will you bring me lunch to school?"

I watched him scroll through his calender and see that there is not enough time.

I was very sad, but my dad told me "Marlee I work for you because I love you." I then realized I was being a fool.

He spent any monent he could with his pride and joy. I was who he was with during his downtime.

My dad and I were best friends and will always be. I sat there in the hospital while he was taken by something cruel

He reminded me of something he would always say when I was a child, "I worked hard because I love you."
