Will You Please Come Home?

//June 14, 2016: 12:04am
"I know it's too late, but can I still make a wish?"
I whisper under my breath with a slight sigh,
I love to believe in 11:11 wishes and shooting star hopes of dreams coming true,
But the only thing I had on my mind to wish for was you,
For you to come back home so I could go running into your arms,
And I know eventually my wish will come true
But at this moment, waiting does not fulfill my empty heart
And my pale skin can not be brightened by your touch,
However, they say patience is a virtue
And though I may lack that, I'd wait for days upon months upon years

if it means my wish will come true,

So, I'll wait..
I'll wait just for you.
