"Will you remember me?"
I will awake if I’m remembered
From the nightmares
Where the looming, leering silence
Lures me under
We wander now in reverie
In my memory we have our
Days and nights of dance and song
When you were my best friend
Forgotten days are lost to time
Remember me when you are lost
And I will be there with you
Promise me this much
Somewhere we play in the field
Where neglected spirits heal
I am there until the end
As I promised you
I will awake if you remember
All the stars we named together
Mere relics of what once they were
And the rainbows draped about the clouds
Will be my own
And you will know they are for you
Allow me in your memories
And the field will never overgrow
And I will dance with you
Let me not become your silence
And in eternity we’ll meet
To whisper of infinity
And dance on deathless fairy feet
