Will You Remember Me?

Will you remember me?

In a locket that you carry?

That encompasses your long dark hair?

Or in a picture that you stuck in your wallet and nearly forgot was there?

Will you remember me

As the man you once loved?

Or someone who broke your endearing heart?

Will you remember me

As your past love

As your best friend

The man who would hold you while you cried unrestlessly in his broken arms?

I will remember you

As my sweet forgiveness

My one and only true love

My never forgotten.
