Will You Stay?

What do you know about me?

Well, you know my name's Skye and you assume I am shy.

You know I play a sport, I'm fairly short,

and public speaking makes me want to abort.

Abort this misson of trying to get you to understand. It is impossible connecting me to you,

Trying to share my story of what is true.

The truth of me.. minus the lies and fake disguise, A disguise I mask myself in everyday just so I never hear anyone say,

What's wrong? Are you okay?

The truth is no, I wear a mask every single day.

I eat to little, think too much, and always push away those I fear will touch,

Touch my heart and have to stay, stay with me, and preted they'd never leave.

But that's a problem I know too well, everyone leaves, sometimes without goodbye, sometimes with no fairwell.

How you expect me to open my heart, my eyes, give up this disguise.

I've been hurt, felt pain, fed so many lies.

How can I trust, when it's so easily broken? I am broken...

If you continue to hear the stroy of me then there's another side you are bound to see.

A girl who is strong, courageous, wild, and fun,

One who helps others without thinking twice, sometimes resulting in a prcie to pay. But hey, that's okay. 

I believe in love, hope, and destinies... I believe we all have a purpose, but not all have the courage.

The courage to fight for what we want, and stand tall behind our beliefs.

I found the courage to tell you, everything that is true.

Open your mind, ears, and heart, listen to all I'd like to say, 

and when I'm done I will ask
