Willow Tree

When I see a willow tree,

It reminds me who I came to be,

To the graceful dancing of the leaves,

I can’t help to think of the one that leaves,

To remind the people who came and gone,

I am not forgotten,

Sweet like the candy your enemies give you,

Like the temper tantrums you had when you were two,

Whenever I see a willow tree,

It gives me the dreams I see,

These branches might be bars,

But that will not stop me from seeing stars.
