Willows

I wander through the willows,

As they wallow, or is it weep?

Someone told me why they cry,

but I can’t remember why

I wander through the willows,

As their tears form a pool so deep

Someone told me why they cry,

but I can’t remember why

The sky is dark and empty,

as far as the eye can see

Oh yes says a tiny voice,

The willows shed tears for me
