Childhood's games with my best buddy turned into 

  his father "breaking up" with me for him

in front of my mother.

All night video games binge-sessions shifted into routines of

staying in my bedroom all  night

  with a couple of DVDs and a bag of Spitz.

Mirrored images of disinitigrating relationships

rang through a multi-family household

  like gunfire in a hollow gymnasium.

People, humans,

  old and young,

slowly fracturing

all at once.
