The wilting of love.

Love is a wilting flower petal

That grows and falls with the turn of seasons

No matter how extreme, it shows mettle

Because love survives without any reasons

When it grows it brings warmth beyond compare

Forgetting the soon foreshadowing doom

Taking in bliss just before it’s despair

Where it crumbles, like a broken heirloom

Never shall we forget the sacrifice

Of those who perish so we can attone to

And those who our everlasting conflict excise

And of the proud petal, who starts anew
