Win or lose, at least you had fun.

As I sit here, absorbed in my own mind, my thoughts race faster than seconds passing by, I'm losing track of time
Feeling as though I'm trapped inside of my own thoughts, everything I think makes my heart first soar then drop
These thoughts I can't control, the more I try to push them down, the more they seem to show, my sanity is swaying to and fro
My suspicious mind intensifies the more I hear and see, my brain, it leaks fear and resentment, seeping into my eyes, I see in my reality that proof is present
I question their motives, I question their lies, I wonder who could corrupt my surroundings with such pride, I question who they are, but my answer is all
All who know me, they hate me, those who think that they own me, they claim that they know me, but their faces aren't them, subtly different but it's evident
I see more than they know, they try to hack into my mind to order me but I refuse to truly emote, facades, so low, feel free to believe that I broke if that helps you cope
Refuse to lose to such simple ruse, if you expect to win, please I encourage you to try, try again.
