the wind

The wind lies on a bed of sorrows

Carrying all of our past with it

The wind coos us to bedrest

Yet still roars in peoples ears

The wind is strong

Fearles

The wind lies on a bed of beauty

Of the gushes through trees

Of the wheat fields swaying in a breeze

The wind lies on a bed of power

Of storms to wipe out nations

Of fear in peoples eyes

The wind takes us in,

Wraps us in it's cool breeze

Sways with us to the music

Even when we get tired to go on

The wind lies on the bed of the world
