Wind

Wind,

it whistles through the trees,

coiling the ruddy brown leaves.

Wind

makes the fire sway at midnight,

illuminating the burning that is so bright.

Wind

makes the cabin groan and creak,

laying in the woods comforting people that sleep.

Wind:

the rattle and hum on the walls,

making sounds with its sharp, sharp claws.

Wind,

it tears through the woods

scaring animals that should

run away from its jaws,

its captivating paws

that comfort and scare

creatures hiding here and there.

Wind.
