In the Wind

Things are smooth sailing

All still, All silent

Nothing but the wind howling

I think about the past

About the ones I lost

A tear falls down

Where did it come from

You relax, take a breathe

And return to the ride

As for that is all one can do

No time machine to hold or use

No, it won't bring them back,

Only the wind holds a place

The wind calms to a stop

As do the memories
