The Wind

She is the leaf they see move

She is the howl they hear in the night

She is the wings of dawn

She is the support of waves high and smooth

The wind is the music of the sun.

The wind is the sorrow of the ground

She drives the waters to erode the coast

She is the sound of the woods for children's fun

With all creation, she has one purpose

In this she stands true

She will not wilt, she will not lack

Day by day, night by night, she lives her purpose.

"Glory, glory!" she cries and, "beauty!"

She lives by command,

Yet she sings in freedom.

She calls unto her Creator: "Glory, glory! Beauty!"
