Wind and Wings

Strong wings.

Strong wind.

The perfect pair.

The wind supports the wings.

The wings direct the wind.

They rise together.

Strong wind.

Broken wings.

A falling pair.

The wind pushes.

The wings tear.

They fall together

As the wind insists

It is helping.

Strong wings.

Sinking wind.

A stunted pair.

The wind blows

With all its might.

The wings insist

It’s not enough.

After all,

The should be able

To glide towards the sun

Without flapping

Strong wind

Strong wings

The perfect pair.
