The Wind Beneath My Wings

Beyond the clouds you smile down, signaling us not to frown.

Through the days and during the night, I feel as if you hold my hand tight.

Singing songs we used to play - only makes me think of that day.

All of us gathered 'round, to hear what was your last sound.

Tears came streaming down my face- but I knew you were in a better place.

And although I miss you everyday, I know God is caring for you in every way.

Up in the skies of blue, one day Nana, I'll be up there with you.
