Wind of Life

The wind gave me the breath I desperately needed. It filled my deflated lungs with a tender and joyous life. The air whipped through me, strong and benevolent. It entered me with a purifying lightness, cleansed me, and left discolored and smoke-like. Restored was my heart, as it was light and no longer bogged down in pollution. At least, this is what that gust of wind bestowed upon me in a brief moment and it warranted great appreciation. My life might be filled with anguish in the majority, but in these merciful moments I am me again and it is the sole reason for my endurance. My eyes bleached to white, and I took my next step forward with a stronger will from, which can only be described as, the Holy Ghost.
