The Wind Song

Can you hear it?
It is coming from the trees.
                                                              No birds can be found.
It is a sweet tune, light and calming.
It can only be heard by those pure of heart.
It is neither from any maiden nor any creature.
It can only be heard on this night.
The night where the stars shine and the moon does not.
It can only be heard in the tranquility of a forest.
A forest that has been unscarred by man and teeming with life.
                                                                 Can you hear it?
The wing is singing through the trees tonight.
