Winding Road

The power of words

to some is unknown.

With my rhymes

and poems

I feel less alone. 

Poetry gives me

Happiness

Love

and

Meaning.

Sends me a message

that life is too short

to be spent dreaming.

Within my poetry

I create a base.

My goals provide me

an outline

on obstacles I may face

Poetry gives me

Definition

Hope

And

Inspiration.

Allows me to see

how simple words

provide strong motivation. 

Although my future

is still unclear.

My poetry guides me

through difficulties  

and eases any fear

I have a long road

ahead of me

but, I will remember

 I am my own judge

for, ONLY I can create my own story
