WindMill
As Life and Time Pass me by
I sit idly and wonder why
Why I cant always win
Even though All I do is sin
Time and again life throws its course
And I sit back and watch in remorse
However it is not all full of despair
In hope there's still a little bit of hair
A thread of joy which I know will stay
Even if some of my best memories fade away
This object represents more than power
Yet held over me it sometimes makes me cower
Expressed simply you watch it in fascination and lean over with your head
Yet before you know it time has passed you and your already dead
With it I can see
And without I cannot be
Such a simple small device
That you hold in your hands colder than ice
Soon it will fade away into a phase
And I will just further continue my journey into the maze
