Soft, velvet skin

glowing radiantly

underneath

the light

of a

full moon

May you ever remain

as

sweet

and

savory

as

sugar covered candied oranges

It is near you that I long to be,

spending each wavering hour of the night

tracing the outlines of

galaxies

mountains

and masterpieces

as a child bides their time

drawing in the

rich sands of a

sun kissed

beach
