A Window Into Heaven

The sky framed by the trees more beautiful than any sunset more mysterious than the far reaches of space more inspiring than the deep sea like a window into heaven. The horizon hidden by the forest hugged by the warm sun embraced by the ground stretching around the whole world above it, a window into heaven. The clouds rising above the land only they can truly hear the bird’s song the trees try to touch them but only the wind can reach them beyond them, a window into heaven. Mankind steps forward holding progress in its hands they exploit the trees they abuse the land they destroy the world’s beauty the only things left standing are the sky, horizon, and clouds because they cannot touch them they cannot touch the window into heaven.
