On the Window Sill
Frozen moments
Fixtures in time
Stolen instances
Of laughter in mime
Scrying the past
And living the present
As the moon moves
From fallen to crescent
An important moment
With memory attached
An elusive whisp
So rarely snatched
Captured in glass
And lost to life
Images of wedding
A husband to wife
In lines of laughter
And sights in sorrow
Glances of the past
For a better tomorrow
Moments to last
Forever they stand
In glass walls cast
Buried among the sand
