A Window Without A Purpose

The daylight hardly pokes through this window anymore.

A window without a purpose. This window and I are not so different you know.

Closed and hidden behind the curtains, hardly ever doing what we were made to do.

If this window were to be open and the light did come in, then the curtain would become my new brother in uselessness. Regardless of purpose, atleast we stay together in our fruitless ways but if this window and curtain were to leave me, then I would be trapped behind the four walls of loneliness. A being without a purpose.
