windows

So here I sit. The cold air seeping through the window brushing against my scarred skin. The window that is supposed to shut out the cold and protect the occupants inside. A metaphor maybe. Of what it feels like to love you. You promised to protect me and yet the cold was still seeping through and yet here I still sit.
