Windows

Rain cascades upon window panes

Toes curl around the world

Crystal drops bring a chill too mature

Wondering when heaven will beckon…

Sky unfurl, lay upon us your slumber

Sing us the lullaby we know so well

For to be awake is a daunting task

To count the hours

The moments lost

Then the memories begin to fall in

Breathtaking

Rigidity sets into our bones

Life seems so small

When you are looking through glass pane windows
