Windows

I slump down in front of the window.

I stare at the window. It doesn't stare back.

I beckon to the window. It shrugs off my advances.

I curtly smile. The window is simply standing there.

No matter how I motion towards it, the window just remains empty.

I stand up and move forward. I tell the window how I feel.

The window finally says "Okay".

I see my reflection in the window. For the first time in a long time.

I draw the shades.
