WINDS

Location

I dreamt of the sky

Angels caressed harps

As my mother had once caressed me

Tranquil chords

Echo along the valley

As my father gazes on at me

With great reverence

The forests collude

To whisper

As I pass with the wind

Amidst the meadows

I dreamt of a fair beauty

Elusive among the trees

The majesty of her pitches

leaving hills to weep with sentiment

I envisioned

A cloud of tears

And upon it rest

Those I love, and have

In the quiet recesses of the dark

In the thoughful daze of the black

Among dead leaves and cracked concrete

Among lonely luminiscence and crescent moons

Among fear and the drudges of the soul

Among accordions of dissonance and columns of tombs

Lies light

And the life I once lived.
