windy road

Here we are at this road again,

I can’t tell you things I used to be able to tell you.

I can’t tell you I’m cold-hearted because I can’t fall into the depths of your arms.

I can’t explain my tunnel vision because I’m not sure who on earth will ever look at you the way I do.

I can’t tell you I’m not okay sometimes because you’ll try to fix it, but you can’t anymore.

I can’t bring up the past when I don’t even know our present.

I wasn’t good at keeping myself to myself.

But now I’ve mastered keeping me to strictly me, I’m different now and so are you.

But I’m glad you’re back so I can stop comparing everyone to you.
